Anna Silk
Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada for her role as Bo. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were both scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. Silk is the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of her earliest memories of life, including attending rehearsals and watching of shows. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials when she was just a child. Her Bachelor of Arts was conferred from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto in her quest to act and progress, and then moved she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met during an Actorsworkshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got married the year 2009 and wed in a civil ceremony in the month of December in that same year. When she converted to Judaism, they renew their vows in a Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk got a baby named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she got the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while shooting the final season of the third season. Silk announced her pregnancy to fans during her Showcase Season Three pre-show special of the 6th of January, 2013. Silk was involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was first conceived on January 6, 2013, announced on Twitter her readiness to return on June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples.
